Uttarpani Polytechnic Institute, located in Dhankuta Municipality-10, Uttarpani, Dhankuta, is the oldest TVET school in Eastern Nepal. It was established in the year 2040 B.S. After the formation of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) in the year 2045 B.S., this institute was transformed into the second constituent institute of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Spread over an area of 44.25 hectares (865 Ropani) in a beautiful and picturesque environment, Uttarpani Polytechnic Institute has been providing continuous contribution in the field of technical education to produce low- and medium-level technical manpower for the agricultural sector since its inception.
